Eagles WR Tyrie Cleveland leaves on stretcher with neck injury
In the third quarter of the preseason game on Thursday, Eagles receiver Tyrie Cleveland sustained serious head and neck injuries.
After the play, he stayed flat on his stomach until medical staff flipped him onto a backboard. Cleveland was carried away on a cart after being placed on a stretcher.
Before Cleveland left, players from both teams sent him their best wishes.
Cleveland has a neck injury, according to the Eagles, but all of his extremities are still able to move.
For four yards, Cleveland had one grab.
Josh Andrews, an offensive lineman, has also been ruled out by the Eagles due to an ankle injury.
